Normally wedding post don't go in the direction of proving points beyond love. But like everything in life there is an exception.

Kristi of Cisco and Kristi is Travis' second cousin. Remember one of my favorite engagement pictures ever?!

Yes, their wedding was awesome with bouquets made of wild flowers from their garden and yellow Converses, one of the largest bridal parties I've photographed...

"but wait! did you see that?!"
Is surly running through your head, along with one or all of the following..."Didn't the bride and groom think you were kidding when suggesting taking pictures, with that overhead? Weren't you afraid the clouds would open up? Did you hear tornado sirens? Think of finding cover in a cellar for wedding party of 21?"
The answer is yes, I did and fear normaly would hold me back from proceeding further. Fear. It intercepts our dreams, our faith, our relationships...will I look silly or stupid? Personally I experience all the above along with the fear of pristine white dresses and dark skies. But Kristi and Cisco brushed it off, showing fear is usually baseless and the risk is worth the reward. So, we are going to take an intermission on the usual wedding shots and overload with the breathtaking skies and beauty of it all. Enjoy.
Kristi and Cisco, it was such an honor to be a part of your wedding day. Thank you a million times for proving love and being the exception for this blog post. Love you two and best wishes!!
